Certified Dry Certified Moisture Testing

Our Certified DrySM classification is a uniquely valuable, comforting assurance for home buyers, sellers, owners and real estate professionals.

Home Buyers

Buyers feel more secure about their purchasing decision knowing that their home is moisture and mold free.

Home Sellers

Sellers instill confidence, eliminate surprises and speed up the closing process. Homeowners whose homes are Certified Dry get peace of mind with marketable benefits when they sell.

Real Estate Professionals

Gain credibility with both the buyer and seller, selling homes faster and eliminating costly closing problems.

In the end, Certified Dry comes down to a variant of the golden rule. You don’t want to buy a home with a moisture problem. And you don’t want to be stuck trying to sell a home with one.

Dry isn’t an Opinion. It’s a Measurement.

Every home has moisture. Accurately identifying the level and assessing whether moisture has caused damage is a measurement that can only be done by pin probing the wood structure.

We give each home a customized assessment that considers the materials being tested, age of the home, climate and typical practices used by builders at the time of construction. We always use the least invasive method possible to determine your home’s condition and moisture level.

When we find a moisture problem, the Certified Dry program helps you select a contractor that uses best practices, not minimum codes. If the home is less than 10 years old and under warranty, we guide the owner through the claims process. As repairs are made we document the repair process for all future owners of the home, and conduct additional testing to show that the home is Certified Dry.

Remember, the cost of a typical moisture inspection is generally less than 1/10th of 1 percent (0.1%) of the home’s value, well worth the peace of mind it offers.
